Hey Florida is a 527 Florida Political Committee that works to strengthen essential infrastructure in Florida's rural and suburban counties, aiming to reduce Democratic losses in statewide and federal elections and secure wins in local races like School Board and municipal elections. We fight misinformation, empower local campaigns, and promote voter-friendly public policies.
We support organizations that promote truth, correct misinformation, and uplift political campaigns managed by these organizations. Our goal is to present public policies in a voter-friendly manner, fostering informed choices at the polls. We also support community engagement and the election of inclusive leaders at the local level. By providing organizational support, data-driven messaging, and funding, our vision is a Florida where every citizen feels genuinely represented by their government.
We recognize that impactful political activity is not limited to population centers. All over our state, passionate volunteers, activists and candidates are doing their part to create change. Parties in rural counties get overlooked by state- and national-level political organizations. Their scope may be “too small” for consideration, or election results have been solidified as red/blue, so political funding is sent elsewhere, leaving them on their own for voter outreach and political messaging. The result is a disenfranchised base of voters who ask, “What’s the point of voting?”
We see things differently. As Floridians and Americans, we are all in this together, and real change can only come when we persuade voters who feel left behind that the issues they care about—and their votes on those issues—matter.
Donating to Hey Florida supports efforts all over our state, putting funds into the hands of organizations that will spend wisely on projects and messages that matter. If things are going to get better in the Sunshine State, we need everyone on board, working together towards a brighter future.
Your donation helps provide digital marketing, text banking, training and other services to rural counties and small organizations without the financial backing or volunteer base to run their own programs.
We seek to promote truth; correct misinformation; and create & promote messaging that defines the political parties. We provide tools for message delivery, infrastructure development, and Get Out the Vote Activities for all elections.
